There have been few changes in staff over the last few months. As we are an 'Investors in People' practice, we encourage our vets to develop their careers, and thus, when ready, they move on to new practices and new challenges.

Michael Macfarlane has joined the practice, replacing Julia Stuben. Julia had been with the practice for 3 years, and has been a valued member of our team. She was well respected by our clients, who appreciated her skill and dedication to their pets. She has moved to Guildford, to join her partner, and says that her new practice is not as exciting or friendly as ours - and there are fewer cakes! Mike has moved here from Glasgow, and is enjoying settling into the Winslow community and the practice. His partner is also a vet, and is working at the Royal Veterinary College.

Jane Alexander and Jacqui  Naysmith are expanding their skills and equipment  with the development of an 'Endoscope' facility in the practice. This will enable us to use non-invasive methods of visualising areas of the body previously unavailable to us! Together with radiography and ultrasound, we can find out much more about what is happening inside an animal, without having to do major surgery!
