Why Vaccinate? PDF Print E-mail

Each year we see a number of dogs, cats and rabbits suffering from diseases that we can protect them against, by vaccination. Sadly, in some cases, these infections will prove fatal, notably rabbits with myxomatosis, cats with panleucopaenicia (enteritis) and dogs with parvo.

Even if the animal does not die, these conditions will cause suffering to the animal and require treatment, and in the case of Leptospirosis, we also have to be aware that the disease could transfer to humans (Weil’s disease).

Not all vaccine components need an annual booster and we select the most appropriate combination for each animal to ensure good, effective protection.

A full health check by the Vet of your pet is included in the consultation.
