To all our wonderful clients; with the easing of restrictions, we ask for your continued patience whilst we ensure your protection and safety, together with that of our staff as due to the nature of our work, it can be difficult to self distance within the practice.
In Winslow, we are continuing to run the practice on a mix of phone triage and consulting. Please wait in your car, and call or alert us to advise us you have arrived. Our staff will collect your pet from the car when ready to be seen and return them to you. Unfortunately, we can’t allow clients to enter our premises at this current time.
Our Buckingham practice is now open on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 8.30am to 1pm, with consulting between 10am and noon. Clients will be allowed in our waiting room as we have no car park, but this must be on a strictly individual basis (where possible) and with a confirmed appointment only or to collect prepaid medications and/or food. A face covering must be worn at all times or entry into our building will be refused. Our vet or nurse will take your pet into the consulting room, whilst you wait in our waiting room and the vet will report back to you following the consultation.
If anyone is self-isolating, has a cough or fever we ask that you do not come to the practice, but in an emergency have a friend or family member residing at a different address to come and collect medication or bring your pet in for you. Alternatively, please cancel and re-arrange your appointment.
Please phone us after 11am, rather than visit to order medication or purchase worm and flea treatments. These may also be ordered online via our website or you can send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We would be grateful if you could pay for these products over the phone, rather than when they are collected, to reduce the time you are at the practice. Medications may be bought out to you if you telephone us to advise you have arrived.
If you have any specific questions regarding your pet’s care during this time please email us on email@example.com. We ask that you please email any non-urgent questions; this will keep the phone lines open. Please be understanding that our reception team is under huge pressure at this time so they may take slightly longer to answer your call.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and understanding.
